Leyla Özer, MD, PhD

Leyla Özer, PhD, received her undergraduate education at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine between 1993-1999 and her PhD at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Medical Genetics between 2001-2007. She completed her medical residency at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Medical Biochemistry in 2003-2008 and has been working at Mikrogen Genetics Center since 2010. Özer, who worked as a research assistant at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Medical Biochemistry between 2002-2008, Biochemistry Laboratory Responsible Physician at Muş State Hospital between 2008-2010, Medical Genetics Laboratory Responsible Physician at Mikrogen Genetic Diseases Evaluation Center between 2010-2022 and Dr. Faculty Member at Yüksek İhtisas University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Medical Genetics, specializes in genetic diagnosis of rare diseases, prenatal and postnatal cytogenetic and molecular genetic diagnosis and genetic counseling.
