Molecular Biologist Emre Evin, Phd

    Emre Evin, PhD Molecular Biologist, received his undergraduate education at METU Faculty of Science, Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics between 2007-2012. He completed his master's degree at METU Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences, Department of Biochemistry between 2012-2014 and his PhD degree at METU Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences, Department of Biology between 2014-2021. In 2014, he worked as a research assistant at the Department of Medical Genetics, Faculty of Medicine, Konya Selçuk University and between 2015 and 2021, he worked as a research assistant at the Department of Biological Sciences, METU. Emre Evin has contributed to many academic publications by taking part in numerous research projects in the field of molecular biology and genetics, especially enzymes involved in drug and endogenous metabolism. Evin, who has been working at Mikrogen Genetic Diseases Evaluation Center since 2021, specializes in oncogenetics, pharmacogenetics, enzymology, next generation sequencing technology, genetic diagnosis and screening methods.
