Prof. Dr. Evrim Ünsal

Prof. Dr. Evrim Ünsal is a medical geneticist and laboratory director with more than 25 years of experience in reproductive genetics, IVF laboratory practice, and high-throughput molecular diagnostics. She serves as faculty in the Department of Medical Genetics at Yüksek İhtisas University and as Head of Molecular Genetics at Mikrogen Genetic Diagnosis Center. Her work focuses on preimplantation genetic testing (PGT-M, PGT-A, PGT-SR), single-cell molecular diagnostics, and the integration of IVF laboratory workflows with genomic testing technologies. She has led and contributed to several national and international research projects developing NGS-based diagnostic platforms and reproductive genetics solutions. She currently serves as the Coordinator of the Reproductive Genetics Special Interest Group of the Turkish Society of Reproductive Medicine (TSRM) and is a member of the Multistakeholder Advisory Board of the European Rare Disease Research Alliance (ERDERA).
